Our daughter Monica and her husband Sam are preparing to move into a different house.  They have been and still are living in Ozark, MO in a house they have continued to renew, restore, and renew almost non stop since they moved there five or more years ago.  To be honest with you I don’t remember when they moved to where they currently are living.

They are moving into a much younger home on the South side of Springfield, and just South of the James River Freeway and Republic Road.  There are nice homes all around them.  This one is or was a little dated with shag carpet, and some other things they wanted to change before they moved right in.

On Saturday we were there helping them pull up carpet, and tack strips, and the staples which held the padding down.  Some stripped wall paper, and we had a good day and just about have the floors ready for wood flooring to go down.

One thing I know and that is that my body aches from being on my knees, and pulling up and rolling carpet.  I am so happy for my kids.  They have a new home, and a new baby on the way.  They are expecting a son to be born in a few months.

Madge and I didn’t get home until around 7 last evening.  We rested and got a good nights sleep.

Thank the Lord for His bounty and blessing.  He is so great and good, and worthy of praise and glory.  We can always say this no matter what comes our way.  Thank YOU Lord.
