Thanks for the info. I don’t know if we are or not. I have a relative who is Tom Blankenship, but I don’t think he is old enough to have a grand child 30 years of age.
Could you tell me where he was born and raised; that might help me know.

My name is Nicole Blankenship. I do not know, but I may be related to your family. All I know is that my grandfather’s name was Tom Blankenship; but passed away before 1960 in Kentucky. Please let me know if I am related. I am 31 and live in Illinois.

I will probably get a bite or so. They have a tradition down there that the men Grill some deer backstrap and fry some turkeys. William had shot a one earlier that week and we ate some it on Thanksgiving.

Paul just had his pinning ceremony recently and finished is training for becoming a deputy. One of the deputies that had the biggest impact on him during his training was killed last weekend in a car accident headed to the scene of another accident. It has been an emotional time for us to experience the loss of a deputy so soon after Paul got started. He spoke to Deputy McCormack just two hours before the accident occured. He offered Paul much helpful information as he was being trained and was a great Christian man.
We went to the funeral services yesterday and I was touched by display of men and women who serve in some capacity as officers of the law. It was a very moving ceremony and I was glad to be able to witness it. Please pray for his wife and 2 small children as they grieve. I cannot imagine the day that I would be put in the same position.

I was just thinking at the ole swimming hole where we have the 4th of July picnic with everybody.
Hope you all are doing well. Your mom is not doing too well right now. She has bronchitus, and larengitius and is really miserable. I took her to the doctor, and she gave her some prescription medicine. I hope she improves soon. He cough sounds terrible.
